The true first edition, though only by a couple of days as they kept putting the publication date back, is the CD publication illustrated above.The first trade edition,as usual with Laymon, is the Headline publication below. Whilst Headline have a generic design for Laymon books I think the CD cover is far superior and it would be interesting to know how the British fans would react to such a different presentation.

UPDATE Oct 99 - I have just finished reading this one and it is CLASSIC Laymon! Possibly the most extreme book he has ever written. Gut wrenching subject matter but totally enthralling.
