True first publication is the first trade hardcover from W.H. Allen in 1988.Published under the Richard Kelly pseudonym. There was only a small print run and this book is highly valued by collectors.In 1992 Headline reissued the book under the authors real name, so even though this trade edition is not a true first, it does have a value. The first US publication was a year later in 1993 when a trade hardback edition was issued by St. Martin's Press.
